Both a 100% and 400% version are made available, featuring artwork from UNKLE’s latest album release, Where Did the Night Fall. Medicom Toy enlists the efforts of Stussy and the Star Wars franchise to develop one of its newest Bearbrick designs, molded after the iconic Darth Vader character. Coming in its medium 400% scale, the toy takes on your traditional Darth Vader look with slight Stussy details, including the addition of a chain necklace. Look for an official release on August 14th through ISETAN Shinjuku, as well as other select stockists.

Mediom Toy has once again teamed up with the Star Wars franchise, this time to create this 400% “TC-14″ Kubrick. I like this little guy!! For all those unfamiliar with the TC-14 droid, it is programmed with a feminine personality and was killed off when Anakin Skywalker destroyed the Droid Control Ship in the Naboo Space Battle.

this is the latest OriginalFake Chomper-inspired BEARBRICKS with a metal “Chogokin” version.

This Lego NXT Wall-E transformable robot is fully self controlled, it uses Lego Mindstorms programming environment. It is for all I know the first in Lego build look-alike which is capable to transform automated. The transformation is quite similar to the original wall-e does it. Cool! By Andreas.

Each one is approximately 8 inches tall and has a good sized LCD display and would be a great bedside in addition to any Lego/Star Wars fan.

Details are unclear at the moment whether there are any other figures in the range. But these Stormtrooper and Anakin models look fantastic.

Unfortunately there is no details either on when they will be available or their prices, at the moment but hopefully they should be available later this year.

This teeny little robot is the size of a toy truck – just 50 square inches. It’d be cute, almost, if it wasn’t armed with “dozens” of eight-inch rockets.

The world’s militaries have been gun-shy about letting armed robots roam around the battlefield; they’re always a danger the machines will malfunction and ruin some pesky human’s day. But Rafael, Israel’s state-owned arms-maker, is betting that its miniature Pincher robot might be allowed into warzones as a tool for neutralizing roadside bombs.

According to Defense News’ Barbara Opall-Rome each of the Pincher’s micro-munitions is ” a self-contained micro rocket with safety ignition, motor, warhead and safety fuse.” The “pyrophoric warhead combusts once ignited to burn upon target penetration,” which supposedly “eliminat[es] collateral damage often caused by traditional explosive systems.”

“Instead of detona­tion, where the speed of the shockwave is ul­trasonic, we developed a special material that causes deflagration, where the speed of the shockwave is subsonic and does not cause sig­nificant damage,” Rafael’s Ram Fabian tells Opall-Rome.

The Pincher has a range of 100 feet, maybe. An onboard camera looks for bombs, and helps remote operators aim the pencil-missiles.

It’s not Israel’s first attempt at a tiny killer robot. In 2007, the Elbit corporation unveiled its 18-inch VIPeR (“Versatile, Intelligent, Portable Robot”), equipped with a “9 mm mini-Uzi.” The machine never made much of a splash.

But rafael has high hopes for the Pincher. The Israel-focused military site Defense Update even suggests the ‘bot could be “used indoors to seek targets, locate and deactivate IEDs.” Just make sure some kid doesn’t pick it up and put it in his toybox afterward.

We jumped inside a Mercedes F800 last week—the car that will offer three flavors of fuel as soon as 2012. Mercedes says that the future is a three-lane highway, with cars running on gas, electricity, and hydrogen.

The F800 hybrid will combine a traditional gasoline engine using direct-injection technology with a hybrid module, which can be powered up by simply plugging into a charging station. Hopefully some more of these will be built by the time this prototype hits the road—when was the last time you clapped eyes on a streetside charging station?

Nuts. That’s the most concise way to describe the alleged specs of the next-gen PSP, according to VG247. Nuts! But sadly, these nuts may not show up in time for E3—or even 2010.

VG247’s report comes from “multiple sources” which appear to be in game publishing, where a whole bunch of firms have apparently signed NDAs to start work on games for the new platform. The spec sheet reads like this:

• Dual cameras
• No physical media, probably
• It’ll have a touchscreen, but it will have a similar physical button layout, too
• 3G! No, seriously, it might have 3G. Phones are becoming more like gaming handhelds, so gaming handhelds are going to become more like phones, I guess? Makes sense.
• A “fucking powerful” four-core Cell processor, like a miniature PS3 processor

Despite the impressive number of claims made here, there aren’t that many specifics—perhaps tellingly, the one true spec, the four-core Cell processor, is the least believable of the lot. Handhelds are expected to have touchscreens now, a precedent has been set for a la carte 3G coverage, and physical media is obviously on the wane, so if the PSP2 didn’t fulfill at least half of these predictions then it’ll be DOA.
