Taking advantage of the break from the rain, we took a Space&LN adventure to Chinatown this Saturday for the always-fun Chinese New Year Fair & Parade (it was Space’s first time!).  The community fair was HELLA packed with people, so we decided to get lost in some of the shops along the way (yee!).  And honestly, other than seeing my Uncle Victor’s’s band Jest Jammin’ playin the 70s HITTERS live on Washington Street, the corporate takeover of the street booths wasn’t that interesting.  We also found a new (to us) Pho spot near the park!! Golden Star Vietnamese Restaurant. And, of course, we caught the parade.  But sorry for the lack of parade pics – we didn’t realize we had low battery… we were too busy taking pictures of kungfu figurines and all the dressed up little kids…
